My Journey Into Brand Strategy

portfolio_me-1-2.jpg

Graduating from Holy Cross as an Economics and Art student, I’ve seen firsthand how creative and data driven perspectives aren’t mutually exclusive. Insightful research requires the analytical skills to find underlying trends in data, and the creativity to solve a problem from the findings. The lateral thinking needed to get the most out of research is what led to my current position as a media planner, where I’m working to find insights and build impactful strategies for brands across social, digital, television and print platforms. It’s been an amazing experience bringing ideas to life on media in new and innovative ways with MediaCom.

I’ve really enjoyed working to drive growth in the CPG industry while working on the Mars account with clients, and creative agencies who are open to pushing the limits of media and how it can impact a brand. I am always looking ahead to learn from others experience and would love to hear from you!

What I’m Up To

Hiking

I recently hiked Okemo Mountain in Ludlowe, Vermont with my sister. The ski mountain had not started making snow yet so it was awesome to see the bare trails before winter.

Reading

Boys in the Boat is the story of the 1936 US rowing team, and their journey to the Olympics in Berlin. I’ve really enjoyed the contrasting stories between the guys on the team and the rise of Nazi Germany leading up to the 1936 games.

Watching

One of my favorite advertisements of all time was the Ted Lasso Premier League/ NBC Sports campaign and I was so excited to see it turned into a show on AppleTV. Season 1 was amazing, and I am loving Season 2 so far!
