How can Converse market through a rising social media platform?
ROLE: I am the sole owner of this project, from start to finish. From conducting research, analyzing the data and developing the recommendations, to even designing and building the deck below, this is an individual project crafted 100% by me.
PROBLEM: Tik Tok is an emerging social media platform that Converse hasn’t been able to establish a presence on up to this point.
ASK: Conduct an analysis of Tik Tok and create a strategy for Converse to be able to effectively use the platform to represent their brand and advertise through.
INSIGHTS:
Tik Tok is a platform of creators, and while some popular influencers build a large following, it is a community that makes its own content and anyone can be seen with the For You Page.
Trends are the most effective way to create engagement on the app and can be through a dance, song, or challenge that gets people following along.
CONCLUSION: Converse should embrace the creatives of Tik Tok, and encourage them to showcase those skills by sharing how they can personalize their pair of Converse. Promoting a challenge that allows them to be inspired by others and show off how they #CreateAConverse can accomplish this.
